A direct internship with Nikhil Sharma, for IIT and IIM students and for anyone else with the same edge. Nobody is shortlisted here. You invite yourself, and you bring a reason.

The campuses write to us. This is the other door.

Since 2024 placement teams and E-Cells at the IIMs and IITs have invited Fabulous Media to recruit from their campuses at least eleven times, and those are only the invitations that reached one inbox. A campus drive is a fine way to fill roles. It is a poor way to find the one person who would have written in anyway.

So this internship does not go to a campus. It waits for the student who reads an essay here, disagrees with a wager, builds something over a weekend and decides to say so. The antevāsī of the old schools lived near the teacher by choice. The choice is the first test.

What gets an invitation accepted.

1. 01

   A degree gets you read first

   IIT, IIM or neither. The institution tells us where you have been. The reason tells us where you are going, and only the reason gets you in.

2. 02

   You have made something

   Code that runs, a model someone used, an essay that argued, a campaign that sold, a club that grew. Something with your name on it that exists outside a marks sheet.

3. 03

   You can disagree in writing

   The essays here end on dated wagers, kept on the ledger at /wagers. Tell us which one is wrong and why. A clear disagreement beats a polite agreement every time.

4. 04

   You want the work, not the line

   This is not a brand for a CV. It is a seat at a desk where the decisions are real and the numbers are live.

Six steps, in the open.

1. 1

   Invite yourself

   The form at the foot of this page. About ten minutes. Your reason, something you made and the desk you want. No CV needed to begin.

2. 2

   Read personally

   Every invitation is read by Nikhil, not filtered by a keyword. The reason is what is read first.

3. 3

   A task from live work

   If the reason holds, a short task drawn from something real on the desk you chose. Forty-eight hours. Done your way.

4. 4

   One conversation

   Forty-five minutes with Nikhil about the task, the reason and the thing you would change. Questions both ways.

5. 5

   Terms in writing

   The length, the stipend, the place (Gurugram or remote) and the desk, agreed in writing before day one.

6. 6

   Day one

   A desk, a named problem, a weekly review with Nikhil and a piece of work at the end that you can show anyone.
