A Diwali transformation for your shop or home
Festival reels are the one week a small business can be as visible as a big brand. Start from a real photo of your own place, so the reel is yours and not a stock image of Diwali.
What you need
- A daytime photo of your shop front or home, straight on
- Your festive offer, if you have one
- Twenty minutes
What you will have
- An eight-second transformation clip
- A version with your greeting and offer
Step 1: Take the photo
5 minutes
Straight on, in daylight, the whole front in frame, the name board readable. No people in the doorway if you can help it.
Step 2: Write the transformation
5 minutes · Your video model
Upload the photo as the reference and paste this.
Reference: the uploaded photo of a small shop front in an old bazaar. Keep the building, signs, doors and every fixed detail exactly as they are. 8 seconds, vertical 9:16, camera completely still. 0–2 s: an ordinary afternoon, as in the photo. 2–5 s: the light falls to dusk; small clay diyas along the step and window light up one by one; a string of warm fairy lights glows on. 5–8 s: a full Diwali evening, a fresh marigold toran over the door, a rangoli on the ground; hold. No text, no new signs, no people, no fireworks in front of the building.
Step 3: Generate and choose
5 minutes · Your video model
Make three. Keep the one where your sign and building stay exactly right.
Step 4: Add the greeting
3 minutes · CapCut or Instagram
On the last two seconds: "Happy Diwali from Sharma Dental Studio" and your offer if there is one. Soft shehnai or a festive track.
Step 5: Post in Diwali week
2 minutes · Instagram and WhatsApp status
Post as a reel and as your WhatsApp status the same morning. Pin it to your profile for the week.
