Turn any post into an animated infographic with Claude

The exact workflow behind Nikhil’s LinkedIn reels. Paste the source, check every number, script one number per scene, let Claude Code build it as a web page and export the MP4 for the feed and for Reels. About thirty minutes.

What you need

  • A post, article or report with numbers in it
  • Claude with web search, and Claude Code
  • Your logo file and brand colours
  • Node.js with Playwright and FFmpeg (both free)

What you will have

  • A fact-checked script of 6 to 8 scenes
  • A 4:5 MP4 for the LinkedIn feed and a 9:16 MP4 for Reels
  • A page you can render again with new numbers
  1. Step 1: Grab the source

    2 minutes · Claude

Copy the text of the post, article or report and paste it into Claude with its link.

  2. Step 2: Check every number

5 minutes · Claude with web search

Ask Claude to verify each figure and cite its source. Drop anything it cannot confirm. Accuracy is your brand.

Here is a post I want to turn into an infographic video: [paste text + link]. List every number and claim in it. Verify each one with a web search and give me the source link. Mark anything you cannot confirm. Do not change the meaning.
  3. Step 3: Script one number per scene

    5 minutes · Claude

Six to eight scenes. One big number, one short line and one simple visual each: a bar, a ring, a grid of dots or a counter.

Using only the verified numbers, write a 35-second script for a vertical video: a hook headline, then 8 scenes. Each scene has one big number, one line under 10 words and the best simple visual (bar, ring, dots, counter, icon). End with one takeaway line for founders.
  4. Step 4: Build it as a web page

    12 minutes · Claude Code + Playwright

Claude Code writes one HTML page where every frame comes from a single time value. Playwright captures 30 frames a second. You never open an editor.

Build this as one self-contained HTML page at 1080×1350. Draw every scene from a single function render(t) where t is seconds, so any frame can be captured exactly. Use my colours [hex codes] and my logo file [name]. Then write a Playwright script that captures 30 frames per second and an FFmpeg command that joins them into an MP4.
  5. Step 5: Brand, encode and export

    6 minutes · Claude Code + FFmpeg

Add your logo, your photo and an end card. Export 4:5 for the LinkedIn feed and 9:16 for Reels and Shorts.

Take screenshots at 3 key moments and check for overlapping text, cut-off words and weak contrast. Fix them. Add a 3-second end card with my name, photo and "Follow for more". Export a 9:16 version for Reels too.
